Policies
The sanctuary runs on clarity, not fine print. These policies exist to protect both the guest and the practice.
Deposits
Day sessions: 100% at booking.
3–5 day retreats: 50% non-refundable to lock dates; balance 14 days before the boat.
Whole-island buyouts: 50% non-refundable; balance 30 days before the boat.
Payments
Payment is never taken on the application form. Once your request is approved, a secure payment link is sent to you by email — by card or mobile money — for the deposit, with the balance due as set out above. International wire transfer is available on request.
Deposits and balances are handled through the same secure link flow, so there is one consistent way to pay and one receipt. If a payment does not complete, the sanctuary is notified and we write to you rather than assuming it went through.
Cancellation
30+ days before arrival: Deposit becomes a 12-month credit toward a future stay.
14–29 days before arrival: 50% of total retained.
Less than 14 days: Non-refundable. 50% credit only for documented medical emergency.
No-show or early departure: No refund.
